Ravenna, Italy (PortSEurope) November 23, 2018 – Italian company Gesmar, a subsidiary of Rimorchiatori Riuniti SpA, expects to start handling a new tugboat at Ravenna port by the end of next year.

The naval vessel was ordered to the Turkish shipyard Med Marine through a contract signed two days ago. The value of the tugboat is close to $6 million and the dimensions of the ship are 25 metres by 12, with a pulling capacity of up to 70 tonnes.

Last month, Rimorchiatori Riuniti ordered a more powerful tugboat for use in Malta to the same shipyard.
