La Méridionale offers new Ropax service between Marseille and Tangier ports

Marseille, France (PortSEurope) January 5, 2021 – The French shipping group, La Méridionale, has started a new Ropax service between between Marseille and Morocco’s Tangier port. Two ships with two weekly stopovers will operate on the service. As an alternative to road transport, cargo on this line will mainly consist of agricultural products: cereals for export, fruit and vegetables for import. For passengers, the connection
is the ideal extension of the Rhone Valley motorway axes and an alternative to the proposals from Italian or Spanish ports. Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2021.
