Marina di Carrara opens improved port rail connections

La Spezia, Italy (PortSEurope) April 13, 2021 – The port of Marina di Carrara has inaugurated a new rail layout at the Fiorillo quay allowing cargo trains to be next to docked ships. This will improve efficiency of port handling operations, and provide better connections with Italy’s national network. President of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani, said that the new connection would improve logistics operations
