Orient Asia Lines Sends Delegation To Damietta Port

Damietta, Egypt (PortSEurope) August 6, 2019 – Orient Asia Lines (OAL) has sent a delegation to Damietta port, on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt, with a view to expanding use of the port.

The delegation, with shipping agent Kadmar Navigation Group, was received by Damietta Port Authority (DPA) Chairman, Cpt. Tarek Shahin.

Shahin presented a number of key developments  made lately at the port which were viewed by OAL as a catalyst for more ties with Damietta Port.

OAL is one of the most important international shipping lines in Hong Kong that operates with Damietta Port and transports about one million m³ of wood annually from East Asian Ports for furniture industry in Damietta. Transport of forestry products is one of the specialities of the company.

Orient Asia Lines is a joint venture between Nepa and Lighthouse Navigation and offers a regular liner service from South East Asia to the Middle-East and the Eastern Mediterranean.
