YILPORT Sotagus Terminal, Lisbon, carried out a unique materials operation

The YILPORT Sotagus Terminal, in Lisbon, carried out a unique operation of handling 2,000 tons of calcium carbonate and silica additive – April 6, 2021 The operation involved a ship originating in Italy, with the cargo subsequently transferred to a ship bound for Angola. The ship left the Port of Lisbon on Tuesday. The additive, handled in big bags, is intended for use for geological purposes in
the extraction of oil in that country. With this operation, YILPORT Sotagus assumes its versatility character, allowing in Portugal to carry out combined operations of general cargo and containers in a single terminal. Source: YILPORT
