A Coruña, Spain (PortSEurope) April 12, 2019 – A Coruña port will maintain its leadership in 2020 in the sector of cruises in northern Spain with more than a hundred calls, the port authority said.
A Coruña harbour has been present once again at the Seatrade Cruise Global fair, held this week in Miami, the most important sectorial meeting in the world in the field of cruises, with an increasing influence as an international commercial platform.
The harbour came with its own space in the stand of national ports agency Puertos del Estado to present its offer, with an already well-established product and international prestige, which has placed the port as the leader of the north of Spain in the number of calls and passengers.
In the course of the fair, meetings have been held with shipping companies and agents, in which the most valued elements are the quality of the services dedicated to ships and the passengers, the competitive policy of rates and tariffs, the coordination in operations and attention to tourists.
The choice of A Coruña as the first Atlantic port to host the Excellence Awards gala, organised by Cruises News Media Group, has also been very well received.
