Angola delegation visits Port of Sines

Sines, Portugal (PortSEurope) September 14, 2021 – The Administration of the Ports of Sines and Algarve (APS) received delegations from the Port of Lobito and the Port of Luanda, two of the main port infrastructures in Angola – September 14, 2021 The visit of the delegation from the Port of Lobito, on September 7th, had as its main objective to know some of the procedures
of the Port of Sines related to Information Systems and their practical application in Port Management. The delegation also had the opportunity to see the JUL – Logistic Single Window in operation and to visit the Liquid Bulk Terminal at the Port of Sines. On September 9, the visit of the delegation to the Port of Luanda had as its main objective to know the procedures and methods related to the quality, environment and safety management system, certified by international standards, as well as the infrastructure management processes maritime and port spatial planning. The Port of Sines has been participating and promoting, within the scope of the Association of Ports of Portuguese Language (APLOP), the exchange of knowledge and experiences with other Portuguese-speaking ports, which has contributed to strengthening ties and greater cooperation.
