Ibiza, Spain (PortSEurope) June 11, 2018 – Baleària Eurolínias Marítimas S.A. has scheduled four daily connections between the Valencia region and Ibiza this summer, two of which will be by ferry and two in high-speed vessels.
Baleària started offering two high-speed daily services from the port of Dénia since June 8, which link the peninsula with Ibiza in two hours.
On the one hand, the fast ferry “Cecilia Payne” operates with the port of Ibiza and, on the other, the ship “Pinar del Rio” links the Dénia with Sant Antoni. Daily ferry services are operated from Dénia and from Valencia. The “Pinar del Rio” ship has scheduled daily departures from Dénia to Sant Antoni, doubling the services on weekends. In addition, the months of July and August will make two daily connections, except on Wednesdays. The vessel, which sails at a speed of 32 knots, has a capacity of 450 passengers and 80 vehicles. It offers cafeteria, shop and pet area services.
On the other hand, the newly incorporated ship “Cecilia Payne”, maintains the usual daily schedules between Dénia, Ibiza and Palma. The fast ferry has a capacity for 720 passengers and 200 vehicles, and sails at a maximum speed of 38 knots.
