Company seeks Las Palmas concession to handle sashimi-grade tuna

Las Palmas, Canary Islands, Spain (PortSEurope) July 15, 2022 – The company Unión Martín SL seeks a Las Palmas concession to handle sashimi-grade tuna.

The concession is for unloading, storage, processing, logistic conditioning and distribution of sashimi-grade tuna. The request has been published in the official bulletin for public consideration.

The plot with a cold stores is already in place and covers 4,570 m². The project budget amounts to €4.7 million.It involves refurbishing the existing building and construction of a new warehouse. A new photovoltaic plant will be installed.

Additionally, Unión Martín SL plans to install maintenance machinery and processes associated with the activity. The term of execution is one year.

Unión Martín Group is a conglomerate of companies originating in the Canary Islands who share a clear international vocation in the fishing, transformation and commercialization of cephalopods originating from FAO34.
