Gibraltar Completes First LNG Supply Operation

Gibraltar completes first LNG supply operation

Gibraltar (PortSEurope) September 2, 2019 – Gibraltar has completed its first ever liquified natural gas (LNG) bunker supply operation. The Panamanian Semi Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV) “Sleipnir” received almost 3200 tonnes of LNG in its eight bunker tanks. The LNG bunker was supplied by the LNG carrier Coral Fraseri owned by Titan LNG.  The Minister with responsibility for the Port, Gilbert Licudi said he was very pleased
with the way the operation had been conducted and hoped that this was the start of more regular LNG bunkering activity within Gibraltar waters. Copyright (C) PortSEurope. All Rights Reserved. 2019.
