Málaga Port Handles “Island Sky” Cruise Ship For first time

Málaga, Spain (PortSEurope) May 22, 2017 – Málaga port received on May 18, for the first time, the call of the cruise ship “Island Sky”, from Cartagena. The luxurious boat, also dedicated to travel expedition to Antarctica, is 90.6 metres long and has a capacity for up to 114 passengers, mainly of Australian nationality.

On the occasion of this first call, representatives of the port authority, the Tourism Department of the City Council, company Cruceros Málaga and the Ship Consignee Association celebrated the traditional exchange of commemorative plaques with the captain of the ship, with the support and collaboration of Pérez y Cía., its consignee.

In addition to the “Island Sky”, three other cruises arrived at the port of Málaga on May 18. The ships were “Mein Schiff 5”, “Rapsody of the Seas” and “Seven Seas Explorer”.
