Seville, Spain (PortSEurope) October 11, 2018 – The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), a world leader in transport and logistics, has announced the launch of a new freight train service to connect Spanish agricultural producers and other exporters to international markets.
The new service will improve the connections between the Spanish port of Seville and Córdoba and the main destinations of the Mediterranean, Middle East and Far East, starting from October.
MSC expects the service to be extended to at least twice a week from the inland port of Seville and the Córdoba freight rail terminal to the port of Valencia, a major hub in the Mediterranean.
The new MSC railway service will provide better connectivity and transit times for exporters in various southern regions of Spain.
Cordoba is an inland city in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia, and the capital of the province of Córdoba.
