Both terminals increase from April 13 the opening hours at 6:00 AM for the delivery of import and empty containers – March 29, 2021 The president of the Valencia Port Authority (APV), Aurelio Martínez, announced after the meeting of the Board of Directors the extension of the hours of MSC Terminal Valencia and CSP Iberian Terminal Valencia. Both terminals will advance from Tuesday, April 13,
the opening of doors at 6:00 in the morning (currently they open at 8:00), for the delivery of import containers and empty containers. “With the advance of the opening, access is facilitated to traffic that, due to having to take the import or the empty container to the client for filling, require starting their activity as early as possible,” explained Aurelio Martínez. “In addition, this new schedule will help decongest the terminals before the container arrivals start at 8:00 in the morning.” In this sense, it should be noted that normal operations will be activated in both terminals at 8:00 in the morning, which includes the collection of export and empty containers. In addition, CSP Iberian Terminal Valencia will delay the closing hours of doors to 9:00 p.m., which will facilitate access for export traffic that may have suffered delays in their operations throughout the day. Likewise, work inside the terminal will continue after the doors have been closed until all trucks that have accessed it are served. For its part, MSC Terminal Valencia will continue with the commitment to serve the transports that are in the Pre-Entry area at the time of theoretical closing of the doors (7.30pm).
