Port of Sines hosts diplomatic attachés

Sines, Portugal (PortSEurope) September 24, 2021 – Earlier this week, around 30 diplomatic attachés from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MNE) visited the Port of Sines and the Industrial and Logistics Zone of Sines (ZILS). The purpose of the training was to educate personnel starting a diplomatic career on the assets of the port which can be promoted abroad. During the event, trainees visited Terminal
XXI, the main container terminal in the country, as well as the liquified natural gas terminal (LNG), a strategic infrastructure in the energy sector and the only one in Portugal. The external promotion of Sines as the main national port associated with an industrial and logistics zone with the capacity to accommodate investments of any size and complexity is highlighted in the port authority’s strategy.
