Rail Cargo launches new TransFER Verona–Hannover

Vienna, Austria (PortSEurope) March 26, 2021 – Rail Cargo, the freight traffic of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), will launch the new TransFER Verona–Hannover on March 29. The non-stop intermodal rail connection between Verona and Hannover will operate four times a week and serve supply chains between Northern Italy and the Hannover-Leinetor Rail Terminal. It is also an eco-friendly alternative to the Brenner, equivalent to
