Valencia, Spain (PortSEurope) January 2, 2018 – Spanish ports handled a total of 8.5 million passengers in the first eleven months of 2017, up 4.31% on the year.
The number of cruise ships handled in Spain in January-November was 3,918, an increase of 7.64%, according to data by Spanish national ports agency Puertos del Estado.
In November alone, Spanish ports handled 822,698 passengers, up 23.8% on an annual basis.
Barcelona was the leading Spanish cruise port in the period under review, with 2.59 million, down 0.2%.
