Odessa, Ukraine (PortSEurope) October 8, 2019 – The Minister of Infrastructure, Vladislav Krykliy, has announced the start of the tender process for Kherson port, located in the delta of Dnieper river.

The concession is for a complete property complex that provides comprehensive services in the seaport of Kherson and includes the properties of the state enterprises KhMTP and Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA).

The decision to determine the winner of the concession tender will be made in the second half of January 2020. 

The Minister of Infrastructure also noted that after deciding on the winner of the concession tender and announcing the results of the tender (tentatively beginning in February 2020), the Ministry of Infrastructure will proceed to negotiations and signing the contract with the winner of the tender. The contract is expected to be signed in early May 2020.
