Valencia, Spain (PortSEurope) April 12, 2019 – Autoridad Portuaria de Valencia (APV – Valenciaport, Port Authority of Valencia) has promoted the short sea shipping lines from Valencia and Sagunto to entrepreneurs from the northern Spanish autonomous region of Navarre at a conference in Pamplona.
Valencia also has two regular motorway of the sea services with the Italian ports of Livorno and Savona operated by Grimaldi.
The head of market intelligence of the port authority, Manuel García, has participated in the conference “The TMCD, tool for a more competitive, innovative and environmentally responsible road transport sector”, organised by the Spanish Association for the Promotion of Short Sea Shipping.
García explained that, within the strategy of expansion of the port’s hinterland, the port authority aims to work so that the port of Valencia can provide its services to the companies from Navarre.
