A Coruña, Spain (PortSEurope) January 5, 2018 – Spanish fuel distributor Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos (CLH) has said that it expects to receive an oil tanker in the first half of 2019, in order to improve its shipping services.
The vessel is currently under construction of shipbuilder Naviera Elcano, which was awarded a contract for the project in an international tender organised by CLH. The new ship will replace the “Castillo de Trujillo” tanker.
CLH will operate the vessel under a time charter contract for a period of at least eight years, with an extension option. The ship will have a capacity of 43,000 cubic metres of oil and a deadweight of 37,000 tonnes.
